Melamed Architect is a full service architecture and interior design firm based in New York City’s Chelsea neighborhood. The company was founded in 2010 by Yossi Melamed RA AIA who serves as Design Director. By creating a team of experts with extensive and versatile experience, Yossi assembled a dream team of dedicated and passionate professionals. Melamed Architect serves its customers with a personalized service of a small firm and the expertise and abilities of a large firm. With a specialization in housing, commercial, mixed-use, offices and interior design, Melamed Architect approaches every project as a unique opportunity to maximize the building’s potential and functionality.

About Yossi Melamed

Born and raised in Israel, Yossi came to the United States to fulfill his dream of becoming an architect and contributing to the New York skyline. From designing 200,000 Sq.Ft ground-up, state-of-the-art, mixed-used buildings, to converting a former Church into a boutique apartment complex while preserving the integrity of the façade, he has become the go-to for New York and New Jersey real estate developers. His incredible vision and attention to context, detail, and adaptive reuse, sets him apart. As an avid surfer, he understands the delicate balance of the unpredictable environment and knows how to navigate between the multiple constraints of a building project with respect and wisdom.
